The Hoshikaikan features a number of itemsthat belonged to Nishikawa.Akiji Nishikawa was the“Obanto”(chief clerk) ofSakichi Toyoda and was responsible for the managementof Shanghai Toyoda Boshoku Sho, thereby contributingto the realization of Sakichi Toyoda’s dream of expandingoverseas. Nishikawa subsequently served as an auditand supervisory board member of Toyota Tsusho’spredecessor company, Nisshin Tsusho.
