Toyota Tsusho Corporation ("Toyota Tsusho") established Toyota Tsusho Leasing Croatia d.o.o., an automobile sales finance company in Croatia, and began sales through Toyota dealers in the country in September 2022. This is the second European country where the sales finance business has been established, after Slovenia.

Toyota Tsusho established Toyota Croatia d.o.o. ("TCR") in Croatia in 2002, and has been expanding ever since entering the automobile distributor business in that country. Presently, it sells approximately 2,000 Toyota vehicles per year through its nine dealers nationwide. This newly announced entry into the automobile sales finance business is being advanced under TCR's sales business, based on Toyota Motor Corporation's European sales strategy. Also, as the form and consciousness​ of automobile ownership shifts from ownership to use, the company aims to offer products suited to customer needs, not only through vehicle sales, but also vehicle leasing.

Toyota Tsusho Leasing Croatia will work together with TCR to offer financial products. It aims to not only support customers' automobile purchases through finance services, but also offers a mobility service including effective use, such as Full Service Lease that combines vehicle maintenance and leasing. By establishing a foundation to offer services suited to customer needs for the effective use of automobiles, the company will contribute to increasing Toyota vehicle sales, improving customer loyalty, and further enhancement of the Toyota brand's value.
