Toyota Tsusho Corporation ("Toyota Tsusho") announced today that it is supporting Ghibli Park as an official partner. The park is scheduled to open on November 1, 2022, within the grounds of the Aichi Earth Expo Memorial Park (Moricoro Park) in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture.

Ghibli Park is a park that represents the world of Studio Ghibli and aims to coexist with nature, inheriting the philosophy of "Nature's Wisdom," the theme of the EXPO 2005 AICHI JAPAN. Three areas, "Ghibli's Grand Warehouse," "Hill of Youth," and "Dondoko Forest," are scheduled to open in the first phase, and two areas, "Valley of Witches" and "Mononoke Village," in the second phase.

Toyota Tsusho is promoting businesses that help realize a sustainable society from a long-term perspective based on its corporate philosophy of "living and prospering together with people, society, and the planet, and to be a value-generating corporation that contributes to the creation of prosperous societies," with "contribution to the transition into a decarbonized society" and "contribution to the development of a recycling-based society" as the Key Sustainability Issues.

Toyota Tsusho agrees with the concept of Ghibli Park, which aims to coexist with nature, and will support the park as an official partner so that many people will be able to visit and enjoy the park.
