Toyota Tsusho Corporation (hereinafter, "Toyota Tsusho") and NEXTY Electronics Corporation (hereinafter, "NEXTY Electronics"), an electronics trading company of the Toyota Tsusho Group, has entered into a capital and business tie-up with four software development companies: AXE, Inc.; Integration Technology Co., Ltd.; Solxyz Co., Ltd.; and Future technology laboratories INC.
It is said that many industries are facing a major turning point and, not immune to this trend, the auto industry has also been experiencing radical technological change. The electronics field will expand in step with such changes, and an increase in demand for software development resources is being forecast as a result.
To satisfy this demand, the Toyota Tsusho Group has continued to strengthen its software development capabilities since 2004, when the group entered the in-vehicle embedded software business in earnest.
NEXTY Electronics is currently building a collaborative system to interact with both its overseas subsidiaries―who possess unique, state-of-the-art technologies and mass production development resources in the areas of software development and validation―and over 100 partner companies in and outside of Japan.
In order to ensure its ability to continuously provide users with high value-added and high quality software solutions, NEXTY Electronics has decided to enter into a capital and business tie-up with four software development companies which will be positioned as core partners.
The company is committed to continuing to strengthen its collaborative system with partner companies in an aim to provide solutions to customer issues through its advanced software development capabilities and responsiveness.
