Toyota Tsusho Corporation ("Toyota Tsusho") announced today that it has decided to relocate its Tokyo Head Office from the Shinagawa Front Building (Minato-ku, Tokyo) to the Yaesu 1-chome North District Type-1 Urban Redevelopment Project (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) around FY2030, and has signed a lease agreement with Toyota Fudosan Co., Ltd. The Nagoya Head Office, located in the city where the company was founded, will continue to serve as a base for Toyota Tsusho's head office functions.
For Toyota Tsusho, which will mark the 80th anniversary of its establishment in July 2028, relocating the Tokyo Head Office is more than just an office move. At a time when the pace of change keeps accelerating, it is a new endeavor to expand Toyota Tsusho's connections with its customers and other diverse partners inside and outside the company, and to keep creating new businesses and solutions.
Through this relocation, Toyota Tsusho aims to become an organization that keeps evolving, just as living organisms do in nature, with each member of its highly diverse workforce bringing their own unique talents to the table and boldly moving forward. The new Tokyo Head Office will be designed as a space where employees can make the most of their unique talents, meet and interact with diverse partners inside and outside the company, and create new value.
Guided by its mission of "passing on a better Earth to the children of the future," Toyota Tsusho will achieve sustainable growth as a "brigade of 70,000 people" in which each employee puts their unique talents to work.
