Toyota Tsusho Corporation ("Toyota Tsusho") announced today that Fighting Eagles Nagoya ("FE Nagoya"), a professional basketball club it supports, will host the club's home opener for the 2026-27 season on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Biwajima Sports Center in Nagoya.
B.LEAGUE ONE, the league in which FE Nagoya plays, was established for the 2026-27 season as part of B.LEAGUE's "B.INNOVATION" structural reforms. Alongside improving its performance on the court, FE Nagoya is working with local communities, businesses, and fans to strengthen the club's foundations, with a view to joining B.PREMIER in the 2030-31 season. Toyota Tsusho will support these efforts with the hope that FE Nagoya will grow into a club loved by local communities and one that embodies the Toyota Tsusho Group's DNA.
FE Nagoya will welcome TOKUSHIMA GAMBAROUS for the home opener to kick off the new season. Toyota Tsusho will join many others in cheering on FE Nagoya and will continue to support the club's further growth and its efforts to join B.PREMIER.

About Toyota Tsusho and Fighting Eagles Nagoya
Toyota Tsusho is committed to its "Be the Right ONE" vision (a one-and-only presence) and its mission of "Passing on a better Earth to the children of the future."
FE Nagoya was established in 1957 as Toyota Tsusho's business league basketball team and has a history of approximately 70 years.
The team was a member of the Japan Basketball League first division for five years from 1990. Since 1995, the team has won five championships in the second division of the Japan Basketball League. The team became a professional club when B.LEAGUE was launched in 2016 and currently operates mainly in Nagoya. In addition to competing, the club builds ties with the community through school visits, basketball lessons participation in community events, and other activities. Toyota Tsusho supports these activities as the club's owner.
Toyota Tsusho is also participating in the development of Nagoya Arena (tentative name), a multipurpose arena with a capacity of approximately 10,000 people. The arena is scheduled for completion in fall 2027 and is expected to serve as FE Nagoya's home arena. It is scheduled to open in early 2028. The project will be one of the key initiatives to strengthen the club's foundations as it looks to join B.PREMIER in the 2030-31 season.
Toyota Tsusho will continue to work with FE Nagoya to revitalize local communities and nurture the next generation through sports, contributing to the development of local communities.
