Kasho's History (before merger)

November 30, 1923 Mr.Shoichi Ishikawa, general manager, Tokyo Branch of Kato Shokai Co., Ltd. Founds Kato Shogyo(Commerce) Co., Ltd. the forerunner of Kasho Co., Ltd. at Nihonbashi, Tokyo, after the Tokyo Branch burns down in tha Great Kanto Earthquake. Kasto Shogyo starts trading activities mainly with Southeast Asia.(Capital:¥200,000)
1924 Singapore Office established
1926 Kobe Office established
1928 Corporate name changed to Kasho Co., Ltd.
1933 Nagoya Office established
1934 Osaka Office established
1960 San Francisco Office established
1969 Stock listed on Second Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange (Captal:¥363 million).
San Francisco Office formed into corporation under the name of Kasho (U.S.A.) Inc.
