In January2013, Toyota Tsusho delivered two dredgers orderedby the Iraqi government. These dredgers were providedby the Japanese government as part of reconstructionaid for Iraq in the form of an ODA loan to the Iraq PortAuthority.Constructing a Transformer Substation in IraqIn March 2017, Toyota Tsusho won a contract from theMinistry of Electricity of Iraq to construct permanent andmobile substations for Electricity Sector. An end-to-endproject from design and procurement to construction, thisis one of the largest construction projects contracted to aJapanese company since the end of the Iraq War.Toyota Tsusho is constructing transformer substationsin the capital city of Baghdad and near Basra, a majorcity in southern Iraq.
