Automobile Parts Logistics Company Established and Started Operations in Guangzhou, China

Toyota Tsusho Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Toyota Tsusho"; Headquarters: Nagoya City; President: Junzo Shimizu) and Guangzhou Guangqi Trading Automobile Group Business Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Guangqi Trading Guangzhou Automobile Business") jointly established an automobile parts logistics joint venture, "Guangzhou Automobile Toyotsu Logistics Co., Ltd." in February 2006 and after obtaining a road transport permit started operations in May this year.
The automobile market in China is growing at a rapid pace. The new company is intended for entry into the general logistics business and targets customers and the demand for automobile parts related logistics by providing a stable and efficient logistics organization logistics operation that can contribute to automobile manufacturers' mass productions the increasing of automobile manufacturers' production volume. The new company will be taking advantage of features offered by both parent companies, with Toyota Tsusho offering their networks both within and outside China, including their sales capabilities and know-how related to automobile parts logistics, for which they have track records in various countries around the world, while Guangqi Trading will provide their previous performances in import and export in China, as well as their domestic sales capabilities in China, in their pursuit for high quality, low cost and high efficiency in delivering parts logistics services.
The new company completed its logistics center at Nansha in Guangzhou and started providing logistics services that accommodate the needs of primarily automobile parts manufacturers. Their trucks also meet the needs of automobile manufacturers, which enabled them to start providing logistics services with parts for productions.
In the future, the company will be building on their general logistics business to participate in the international cargo transport agency and customs clearance agency business, expanding their general logistics capabilities by offering competitive services to respond to the needs and contribute to the business of a broad range of customers, not only those involved in the Chinese automobile industry.
