Announcement regarding Personnel Reassingnments of Representative Directors and Other Corporate Officers

Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Tomen Corporation are currently zealously proceeding with preparations to merge in April this year, with the assumption that an approval will be obtained at the general shareholders meetings of both companies. The companies have recently decided informally on the appointment of board members, corporate auditors and executive officers for the new company and are hereby announcing the new appointments of corporate officers as indicated below.
Furthermore, the matter will be finalized and become official at the extraordinary shareholders meeting, scheduled for February 21 this year, as well as at the meetings of the board of directors and mutual election of corporate auditors scheduled for April 3.
