Eurus Energy Japan Corporation has completed the Nishime Wind Farm in Nishime town, Akita Prefecture.
The plant uses 15 Vestas 2,000kW machines with a total capacity of 30,000kW, and will generate enough power to supply 18,000 homes. The electricity will be sold to the Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. over the next 17 years. The capacity of each turbine is one of the largest in Japan.
