A Joint Venture Distribution Service Center Was Established in Mexico

Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. (100% invested by Toyota Tsusho), Kimura Unity Co., Ltd., and Kimura, Inc. (100% invested by Kimura Unity) decided to establish a joint venture company in the United Mexican States in April of this year and entered into a joint venture contract.

1. Establishment Background
Toyota Tsusho and Kimura Unity formed a capital and business alliance in December of 2000 in order to "develop an overseas logistics business".
Both companies began a procurement of physical distribution and round delivery business for components in Argentina in 1997 and in Brazil in 1998. After this, joint venture companies were established in Brazil in November of 2001 and in Thailand in December of 2002. These joint venture companies are developing distribution services.
At this time, Toyota Tsusho provides trade business skills and Kimura Unity provides distribution know-how in Mexico, which will improve manufacturing convenience for the main automaker customer of both Toyota Tsusho and Kimura Unity. It was also decided to strengthen business in the North American region.
To accomplish these above goals, the four companies decided to establish a joint venture company in Mexico and entered into a joint venture contract.
