Tomen Europe and Card Guard to Develop and Distribute Telemedicine Call Centers in Europe and Asia

Tomen Corporation/Tomen Europe, Ltd. and Card Guard Scientific Survival Ltd. announced today that they have signed a joint development agreement to distribute Card Guard's telemedicine products, and they will enter into the monitoring call centers market in Europe and Asia.

Based on the agreement, Tomen Europe will enter the growing telemedicine industry in Europe and Asia through development of monitoring call centers in conjunction with Card Guard, and will distribute Card Guard's telemedicine technology products. They will leverage the LifeWatch brand name and concept, which enjoys great success and the No.1 position in the USA market. The agreement will further enhance Card Guard's leadership position, while providing Tomen with a top level technology partner offering complete technology and monitoring solutions in the growing telemedicine market.

Card Guard is a leading medical technology company specialising in advanced telemedicine systems and monitoring services, providing patients with small sized monitoring devices for recording and transferring medical data via telecommunications to a medical facility for diagnosis and treatment. Currently, Card Guard offers devices that monitor cardiac activity and pulmonary function. The Company is based in Rehovot, Israel, and is listed on the SWX New Market in Switzerland.
