The Machinery & Electronics Division not only procures and sells goods, but also provides total support services in such domains as machinery, including various types of machinery and facilities, industrial vehicles and construction equipment; electronics-related fields encompassing electronic devices and IT/ networks; as well as parts for automobile production. These support services cover planning and recommendations as well as technological development, quality control and efficient logistics and make important contributions to the building of customers' production structures.

In the machinery business, we provide integrated support functions across a broad spectrum of industrial fields. These functions range from support for production preparation at production facilities to related procurement, logistics, installation and after services. We are also actively involved in environmental fields, beginning with the sale of solar energy equipment, while also focusing on expanding sales of industrial vehicles, construction machinery and textile machinery in emerging markets.

In the electronics business, our electronic devices business involves making development and technology proposals to domestic and overseas semiconductor and electronic device makers and undertaking related global procurement as well as making proposals for systems, including the development of embedded software. We also engage in the network business, in which we build networks for companies that have established overseas operations and provide systems support on a global basis.

In our business of supplying parts for automobile production, utilizing the Company's global logistics network, we have established a global supply chain management system that enables optimal integrated logistics ranging from the acceptance of parts from manufacturers to making deliveries to overseas business units, thereby contributing to the stable supply of parts.
