Establishment of a Global Supply System
To provide support for overseas production by chemical users, Toyota Tsusho provides a comprehensive function that covers optimal procurement of raw material, production preparation, processing/experimental materials, and local sales, inventory/logistics. In particular, we have production bases in China and Southeast Asia for resin compounds, and active business development is taking place in Eastern Europe.
Establishment of a Value Chain with Global Perspective
In the chemical and synthetic resin field, Toyota Tsusho holds a production plant for ethanol in Thailand and tank facilities that function as logistics bases in Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. These production/logistics bases are utilized to provide a competitive edge in sales of various chemical products. Toyota Tsusho possesses strong business foundations in both the Middle East where oil and gas is produced, and Asia where the consumption takes place, and is establishing a value chain that links plant construction and sales of oil and natural gas. In our bunker oil business based in Singapore, we have been building a service system that meets the needs of users, realizing the supply of bunker oil at ports around the world. In the coal business, we handle the development of coalmines, as well as production and sales.
