Corporate

In order to become a Value Integrator, the Company has established two corporate staff divisions with specialized functions. The goal of this structure is to improve competitiveness of all management functions.

The first staff division is the Corporate Division which is responsible for the support and implementation of strategies for the Company worldwide. It boasts an impressively high level of expertise in the functional areas of global accounting, finance and risk management. The Division's purpose is to bring out the greatest merits of the home office by acting as the chief strategist for the top management of Toyota Tsusho and by being the internal support and check system for each product division. At the same time, it maximizes the "invisible" aspects of corporate value such as personnel development and public relations activities.

The other staff division is the Operations Divisions that provides support functions globally to each product division. Specifically, this Division develops logistics and IT systems that become common infrastructure for all divisions, uncovers and cultivates new business opportunities, supports overseas business development and collects support information. By providing specialized functions to each product division and by maximizing the organic synergies between these divisions, the Operations Division is contributing towards the growth of corporate value.
