"Faster, Cheaper, and More Accurately" - Logistics functions that pursue the fundamental concepts of the business field
The ultimate purpose of logistics is to deliver products to customers "faster, cheaper, accurately and safely." In order to achieve this, the Company has thoroughly placed fundamental principles at the local-office level, and established a win-win logistics system that focuses on both the shipping and receiving aspects of logistics and operational efficiency. The system is in fact founded on the principles of the legendary Toyota Production System. In addition, the Company is able to propose optimal logistics plans and speedy progress management systems that operate on a global scale by using IT to replace logistics processes (ordering, packaging, delivery) for a large amount of shipments with digital information flow.
Business development that uncovers and creates new types of value
The Company captures new needs derived from current business development activities and various seeds uncovered from collecting information for each business field. By doing so, it develops and establishes products, functions and business models that transcend the framework of the current business organization. Since the switch of public works projects to private sector in 2002, we have been involved in PFI projects implemented by the government and public corporations in the Tokai region of Japan. This move is aimed at creating new business opportunities for the company as well as contributing to the prosperity of the region.
* PFI (Private-Finance-Initiative) is a new method for delivering inexpensive but high quality public services that ultilizes both funding and management experiences of the private sector.
